HomeParlay is an Ontario technology platform for homeowners and buyers who want to transact directly with structure and support. It is not a real estate brokerage and does not trade real estate on a user’s behalf. Sellers and buyers make their own decisions, while Parlay™ helps organize the process and the conversation.
The platform charges sellers a flat $5,000 fee only when a sale closes, paid through the seller’s lawyer. There is no upfront listing fee. A buyer’s agent is not required, although a seller can choose whether to offer compensation if an agent introduces a buyer. HomeParlay itself does not collect a percentage commission.
An Ontario lawyer is still required to review the agreement, receive the deposit into the seller lawyer’s trust account, and complete the transfer of title. The platform supports electronic signatures with an audit trail and is currently opening through a private beta for Ontario residential properties.
